 weight gain and malnutrition Minimize

Weight loss and malnutrition can occur for a number of reasons, often the result of illness or conditions involving malabsorption such as Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis and Coeliac Disease. A poor appetite due to stress or depression may also lead to weight loss and nutrient deficiencies.

Weight loss may also occur in those with high activity levels such as athletes and those who work in a physical job. Some people just have a high metabolism and find that they always need to eat more than the average person to maintain their weight!

If you have lost weight or are having difficulties with eating or maintaining a healthy weight we can provide information and advice on ways to improve your nutritional intake through diet and nutritional supplements. For more information or to book at appointment, phone 9415 4845 or email reception@nnd.com.au
